Redwood Forest
State Park Brochure
Format: 10x10" | Client: Redwood Forest National Park, Northern California
Objective: Design an engaging and informative booklet to educate and inspire visitors of all ages about the Redwood Forest National Park—its ecosystem, wildlife, and cultural significance. The goal was to create a visually appealing experience that balanced educational value with interactive content.
Design Approach: The color palette was inspired by the official Redwood National Forest logo, creating a grounded, earthy visual tone. All visual elements—including icons, illustrations, and layout components—were hand-crafted in Adobe Illustrator for a cohesive, organic feel.
A clean grid system and consistent thematic design were used throughout the booklet to ensure readability and professional polish. Special attention was given to maintaining visual interest across a wide age range of readers.
Interactive Feature (Pages 8–11): To increase engagement, I included an interactive wildlife game that invites readers to match local animals to their tracks, habitats, or fun facts. This section was designed to spark curiosity and connect younger audiences to the park’s natural environment.
